FIVE STAR REVIEWS - What Our Guests Have Said

We have received many 5 star reviews from guests who have stayed at Le Mas du Bourrelier.  Our overall rating is 4.9! Here are a few examples:

This wonderful house is spacious with three bedrooms and for us (2 couples and 3 children) there was more than enough room. Although the temperatures were in the high 30s, we were able to sleep perfectly well at night. During the day we could really enjoy the garden and cool off in the pool or outdoor shower. The surroundings are beautiful and it's a tranquil setting, being entirely surrounded by vineyards. Furthermore, the house is perfectly situated for trips out to towns like Orange, Nyons and Vaison-la-Romaine, all within a 15 to 20 minute drive. Should we return next year, we will bring extra bikes as the area is ideal for wonderful bike-ride.

The Mas du Bourrelier is the perfect combination of rustic French elegance and 21st century convenience. Set amongst vine, olive and lavender crops, it is entirely peaceful yet close to the Roman, medieval and the modern. The gardens are glorious, the pool Hockney-esque, the WIFI reliable, the kitchen both contemporary and traditional, the tiled floors cool and the care-taking thoughtful.

We loved our time at Le Mas Du Bourrellier. Hosts are great, welcoming, helpful and friendly. The house is very comfortable with great attention to detail, and the outside space and pool are kept in wonderful condition. Location is nestled amongst the vines and is great if you want to feel secluded, but you are less than 3 minutes away from the nearest small village (by car) which has a good restaurant and there is plenty of good walking and cycling nearby.

We komen heel graag terug! Dank aan de eigenaren voor hun gastvrijheid en de warme communicatie en hulp.

This beautiful property is set in a wonderful location with so much to see and do around you. Firstly the property is immaculate and very tastefully decorated. I could not fault it at all, the atmosphere just makes you unwind. It is rare to find everything you might want in one place but this has it all for a great time either as a couple or a family. Prachtig

I can honestly say that Mike and Mark have done an amazing job with this place. From the moment you walk through the door, it feels like a home - not just somewhere you're staying a couple of weeks. Everything you could possibly want or need is to hand in the house. The location in the vineyards is magical and the pool fantastic for the kids to splash around in. Although a bit far to visit the coast, you won't be short of things to see and do - Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, Orange, Mont Ventoux. We had an amazing time exploring.

For the wine connoisseur - you really can't get better. For the keen cyclist, Mont Ventoux is a Mecca.  For the explorer there are chateaus and roman sites a plenty. For those who just like to put their feet up, you can do that too, lounging by the pool or under the shady arbour.

All in all - c'est parfait.

We've just returned from a fantastic week long holiday and can't say enough about the property and area. Vineyards surround the house and it is a lovely and peaceful  area.

We were a party of four adults and a two year old toddler and the property was perfect for our needs. The ground floor and walled gardens of the house made for a great area of exploration for our daughter. For her safety, it helped that the pool area was raised as it gave us a little extra time to keep her away from the water!

Aside from wine, there was plenty to do in the area. We saw sights in Avignon and Orange and went to a few local markets as well.

The owners were very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. The house has pretty much everything you could need and is extremely well kept.

Stayed for 2 weeks and wish we had stayed a month! This is a well cared for villa, fully equipped for a family holiday. It is extremely quiet being away from the local village, but near enough for a morning visit to the bakers for breakfast. Right in the middle of the wine area, it is ideal for a visit to Gigondas (our favourite) as well as Sablet and Beaumes de Venise.

We can thoroughly recommend a vacation here.

The house is a wonderful place for those who want to spend some time in Provence and appreciate a comfortable living in a peaceful place with "own space" in a beautiful landscape, surrounded by vineyards, hills with small villages and with the mountains in the background.

The garden is surrounded by walls and fences so you can be completely on your own there, pool side or at your outside dining table. The house, including the garden with pool, is kept in a very good shape, The kitchen is well equipped with a classical gas/electric stove and oven - a great tool for those who like to make good food!

The weather in mid & late October was surprisingly good; the first week was like the best summer weather in Scandinavia. Warm and sunny days, and even soft warm evenings. Then we experienced a few days of the famous Mistral - wind. An interesting experience as well. After the wind settled the weather turned nice again, sunny & warm days with temperatures perfect for making tours around.

We made lots of  visits to the nearby villages with their markets and restaurants, and for walking or biking. And after a full day, it was nice to return to "our own" peaceful and beautiful place.  It was perfect for our needs; we could not have found something better.

Michele and I are happy to recommend this holiday location. We hired a car in Avignon and drove here in around an hour. We were met by the owners who, by coincidence, had been holidaying at the house themselves. The home was meticulously presented.  It was fitted with every necessity, and the garden and pool were a delight. The bed was very comfortable and the house was warm (it's early April) . The kitchen was also excellent with everything we needed to self cater.

Well located in Cairanne, we were able to take short trips to neighbouring towns and villages. The owners provided a comprehensive guide to all things to do with the house as well as a few tips on local visits. Incidentally, you must go to the Vaison la Romaine market on Tuesday morning.

Overall we thoroughly recommend this home. It is beautiful, comfortable and of very high standard in all regards. The information guide and handover were first class and this is a brilliant location to have fun looking around Cote du Rhone Viilages.

Pets, Children and Access

This is a pet and child friendly house. Unlike most rentals in this area, we have an entirely closed garden. Pets are welcome  - please mention them also when you book.

The ground floor has a 20cm step between the original part of the house and the rest. With staircases to the bedrooms it is perhaps not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
