This secluded, 18th century house has three double bedrooms, private walled gardens and heated pool. It is surrounded by vineyards and lies about 1.5 km from the village of Cairanne. The beautiful Roman town of Vaison-la-Romaine with its famous market is a 15 minute drive away. Other famous Provencal towns, such as Avignon, Aix-en-Provence and Les Baux de Provence are easily reachable. The garden is well-equipped for outdoor living with an 8x4 pool, outdoor shower, sunbeds, barbecue and outdoor dining furniture. It is surrounded by beautiful mature trees and has sun right through the day - well into late afternoon and early evening. You can always be in good sun or good shade, depending on individual taste. The interior is very comfortably furnished, simple and stylish. Cooks will love the kitchen which is exceptionally well-equipped; or if you prefer, restaurants abound in this area. The property is an ideal combination of great location, usable outdoor space and a comfortable interior.
All Year Round
Of course, Provence is a summer paradise but this is a real house right through the year - not just a summer holiday cottage. All windows are double glazed and there is powerful central heating. There is also now a wood-burning stove in the fireplace so everything is in place for a cosy winter stay. The home entertainment system has all UK and French TV and radio stations, NETFLIX and YouTube, a dvd player so there is no shortage of indoor entertainment. High speed fibre optic internet. As well as the above, there are lots of books and games are also provided - so plenty to do if you want to stay indoors.
